MSP Terminal 2 North Expansion

The Terminal 2 North Expansion project at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is a $263 million construction project that will add two new airline gates, additional loading docks, more passenger seating, concessions, restrooms, baggage handling, office, storage, and support spaces.

LEVERAGING OUR TEAMS, FAMILY OF BUSINESSES, AND ONSITE CREWS

For this project, Hunt is providing and installing over 8000’ of duct bank.  Because of jobsite space limitations, we are working with Baer Manufacturing to ship prefabricated materials to the jobsite on an as needed basis. This improves the flow of site work across trades, lending to the overall success of the project. Our Advanced Construction Planning (ACP) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) departments are collaborating on layout and drawings subsequently provided to Baer.

Additionally, our existing crews at the airport have in-house knowledge that helps with scheduling shutdowns, as required.
