Red Lake Nation College

Hunt and ECSI designed the electrical and installed lighting, power, AV, cameras, fire alarms, and two large video walls for this renovation of the Red Lake Nation College in Minneapolis. 

This project was on a unique lot consisting of three 100-year-old buildings. We combined them all to make one continuous space with a two- story atrium and roof deck with views of U.S. Bank Stadium. 

The location of the historic college in downtown Minneapolis provided the unique opportunity to bridge the old with the new. Modern finishes were seamlessly paired with 100-year-old exposed brick and timber, and an atrium with city views to help students feel connected to the city. 

The location did come with challenges, namely a tight downtown footprint and a nearby bike lane.
