Hunt Electric Hosts Annual Safety Fair

Hunt Electric’s 2025 Safety Fair brought together over 120 employees per day for three days of training, wellness education, and leadership development. Featuring expert speakers, breakout sessions, and vendor showcases, the event reinforced Hunt’s commitment to a strong, proactive safety culture across all branches.

BLOOMINGTON, MN – May 2025 –  Hunt Electric once again demonstrated its strong commitment to workplace safety and employee well-being during its annual Safety Fair held earlier this week. Over the course of three action-packed days, more than 120 employees each day gathered in Bloomington for in-depth training, inspiring speakers, and hands-on vendor experiences.

The event opened with remarks on key policy changes, followed by an OSHA overview that tackled the latest updates in compliance, hazard awareness, and the differences between state and federal guidelines.

A highlight of the fair was Kellen Schmidt’s powerful keynote, "From Lineman to Blue Hat", where he shared a deeply personal story of overcoming occupational trauma and becoming a force for change in safety culture. Other engaging sessions included training on Lone Worker Syndrome, Fall Protection, and a wellness-focused talk on restoring balance and understanding lower crossed syndrome.

Attendees explored a dozen vendor booths during breaks, discovering new tools, technologies, and safety solutions. Leadership development was woven throughout the fair, reinforcing Hunt’s focus on continuous improvement and zero-injury outcomes.

From expert insights to team bonding and giveaways, the 2025 Safety Fair was a clear reflection of Hunt Electric’s unwavering investment in its people—and a culture where safety always comes first.
