Lydia Baker Promoted to Assistant Buyer
One important process Lydia has been involved with in her time at Hunt has been the daily maintenance of purchase orders and the purchase order exporting process. This includes 150-200 purchase orders that need to be exported into Spectrum every day so our accounting department can pay invoices. Earlier this year, there were more than 300 unknown purchase orders in the log, and, with Lydia’s help, it has since been reduced to about ten.

Lydia started with Hunt in 2023 and was drawn to the company because of the employee-ownership aspect and the opportunity to truly make a project her own. “Opinions here are not only respected but heard and talked through so that improvements can be made,” says Lydia, “I am so excited to have had this opportunity to work in the electrical industry!”
We are excited for Lydia and wishing her the best in this new role! Congrats, Lydia!
