Supporting American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge

We truly enjoy giving back to our community and are "better together" (one of our core values!) when connecting with organizations like American Cancer Society’s Richard M. Schulze Family Hope Lodge.

Bloomington, MN – November 2024 - The American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their caregivers more than just a place to stay—it creates a supportive, home-like environment where they can find comfort, connection, and peace during their journey. Hope Lodge removes the financial burden of lodging, allowing guests to focus on recovery in a space filled with compassion and understanding.

This November, a group of Hunt employees attended the American Cancer Society's Champions of Hope Gala, where they helped raise funds to expand Hope Lodge facilities in Minneapolis and Rochester. Their contributions support a warm, safe haven for patients and families in need.

Support from donors, volunteers, and local organizations is critical to the American Cancer Society’s mission. Earlier this year on two separate occasions – in August and November -  groups of volunteers from Hunt visited the Hope Lodge in Minneapolis to cook and serve dinner for its guests. We spent heart-warming evenings cooking crowd-pleasers like breakfast for dinner, burrito bowls, and of course, turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and green beans in November.  We truly enjoy giving back to our community and are "better together" (one of our core values!) when connecting with organizations like American Cancer Society’s Richard M. Schulze Family Hope Lodge.
