Hunt Hosts 2nd Annual Health and Wellness Fair
At the fair, representatives in attendance excitedly discussed insurance plans, coaching services, mental health resources, and more! Employees were encouraged to visit as many booths as they could to fill out a punch card, and once they had visited at least six, they could get a free lunch from the El Burrito Mercado food truck.
BLOOMINGTON, MN – September 2024 - Today we hosted our second annual Health and Wellness Fair, where employees gathered to meet with more than 20 vendors and representatives to learn more about Hunt’s different benefits, health initiatives, and ways to stay healthy!
The idea for the fair came about in 2023, when Chief Estimator Kathy Grieger realized that many employees at Hunt were not aware of all the different services Hunt offers. She brought her concerns to Office Coordinator Sam Pelzer, and the two of them decided that a health fair would be a terrific way to spread the word and get people talking about health.
At the fair, representatives in attendance excitedly discussed insurance plans, coaching services, mental health resources, and more! Employees were encouraged to visit as many booths as they could to fill out a punch card, and once they had visited at least six, they could get a free lunch from the El Burrito Mercado food truck.
The fair also included free smoothies for everyone, chair massages, and the chance to de-stress by playing with puppies, as well as an on-site blood drive.
While the fair was a chance for employees to come together to socialize and learn, it also served as a reminder of the importance of prioritizing mental and physical health.

It helps us prioritize our lives, improve our focus on working together, and find meaningful ways to reduce stress.”
