Hunt Celebrates Employee Owners Entering Into The Plan
Since 2016, Hunt has offered an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), giving Hunt’s workforce ownership interest in the company.
BLOOMINGTON, MN – October 2024 - There's always something to celebrate at Hunt! Each month, we host a small celebration for all the employees entering into Hunt's ESOP that month. You are looking at the smiling faces of five new employee owners!
Since 2016, Hunt has offered an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), giving Hunt’s workforce ownership interest in the company.
To be eligible, you must be:
- An employee
- 18 years old, and a US Citizen
- Employed for 12 consecutive months, completing a minimum of 1,000 work hours
After the waiting period, an eligible employee enters the plan on the first day of the next month and then receives their first statement the following Spring. To celebrate this milestone, we host a small get-together with other employees who joined the plan the same month, enjoy a treat, have Employee Owner Committee members on hand to answer questions, and hand some Hunt Employee Owner swag.
Employees will be fully vested after six (6) years in the plan. Can you guess what swag you get at this stage? If not, you’ll just have to wait and see for yourself!
