Expanding Prefabrication & Manufacturing Capabilities
HUDSON, WI – November 2022 – Hunt Electric has been a leader in prefabrication for decades and now we are expanding (again) our footprint to be able to expand our capabilities.
In 2020, we moved our prefabrication team over to a facility in Hudson, Wisconsin and formed a dba called Baer Manufacturing. That facility, known as "Little Baer," currently has 150,000 square feet of prefabrication space. Over the last 2 years in Hudson alone, we've clocked over 150,000 hours producing industry-leading work that saves our customers time and money, and supports safer work practices and more efficiencies on our job-sites.
Fast forward to today. We are just a couple of months away from taking occupancy of a new manufacturing facility right next door. We acquired 17 acres to the north of the current facility and are partnering with Kraus-Anderson Construction to build a 250,000 square foot facility.
