Slumberland Furniture Installing Solar Panels On 8 Stores

Hunt Electric just finished the first of 10 rooftop arrays for Slumberland / Geronimo Energy. The project includes eight stores, one distribution warehouse, and one corporate office in the surrounding Twin Cities area.

Slumberland said each installation will offset 81,500 pounds of carbon dioxide annually, or the equivalent weight of 7,600 queen mattresses - which, stacked on top of each other would be more than five times the height of the Empire State Building.
