Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer at Hunt Electric, Keith Colvard plays a critical role in overseeing the execution of projects, managing customer relationships, and maintaining key labor relations with our signatory labor unions. His position serves as a vital bridge between the operational teams and leadership, ensuring that business development, contractor licensing, and recruitment efforts are aligned with Hunt Electric’s long-term goals. With more than three decades of industry experience, Keith is instrumental in shaping the direction and success of the company.
Keith began his career in the electrical industry 33 years ago and joined Hunt Electric in 2003. Throughout his tenure, he has held several key roles, including Project Manager, Field Labor Manager, and Vice President of Operations, gaining extensive experience in all aspects of the business.
In addition to his leadership role at Hunt Electric, Keith is highly engaged in the industry. He serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Twin Cities Chapter of NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) and is a member of the State Board of Electricity in Minnesota.
Keith is a graduate of St. Paul College, where he earned his degree in Construction Electrical in 1991. His education and hands-on experience as an electrician have contributed to his well-rounded expertise in both the technical and leadership aspects of the electrical contracting industry.
