We offer a complete suite of services that are the result of a collaboration between several companies. Our in-house limited energy divisions in Bloomington and Duluth are ECSI and ARS, respectively. Our prefabrication facility in Hudson, WI, is called Baer Manufacturing; and our in-house quality assurance and testing group is Power Solutions. With these divisions working together, we provide a wide range of opportunities. 

Entry Level Positions

PRE-APPRENTICE

Get hands-on experience delivering electrical solutions for renewable energy projects out in the solar fields. Pre-Apprentices assist in the installation and servicing of electrical wiring, transformers, generators, and electrical distribution equipment. As a pre-apprentice, you can work your way up to a journeyman electrician with the proper training and certification. 

LIMITED ENERGY TECHNICIAN

Our full-service in-house technology company designs, installs, and maintains customized limited energy systems. A Limited Energy Technician with ECSI will install, program, and service limited energy cabling and technology systems. This is a great path for pursuing your journeyman certification. 

ASSEMBLERS

Assemblers in our prefabrication facility perform system assembly; wiring of VFD’s, motor starters, control panels. Complete panelboards, disconnects, starters, including terminations, overhead racks, threaded rod assemblies, etc. There are opportunities to advance from Assembler Level 1 to Top Level Assembler. 

FABRICATORS & WELDERS

Fabricators are capable of design, layout, cutting, and welding of materials from plans. The positions range from Fabricator Level 1-5 as well as Lead Fabricator.

Our internships are generally full time in the summer and part time around your class schedule during the school year. Internship applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and should be pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree in Electrical Construction, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field.
