Cooper Elementary School Electrical Construction

Cooper Elementary School is a new EC-5 educational facility built for the School District of Superior in Superior, Wisconsin. The 94,000 square foot replacement school was designed to serve up to 480 students while providing a modern, secure, and welcoming learning environment for the surrounding community.

Hunt Electric delivered the complete electrical construction package along with integrated low voltage systems through ARS, Hunt Electric’s in house low voltage division. The project included the demolition and replacement of the existing school on the same site, along with new educational, athletic, and site infrastructure improvements.

The new Cooper Elementary School was designed to improve educational functionality, site safety, and student experience while blending naturally into its neighborhood surroundings. The prairie style architecture reduces the visual impact of the building while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for students, families, and staff.

The project included a new gymnasium, cafeteria, library, parking areas, bus drop off zones, and playgrounds, all designed to support both daily operations and long term community growth.
