RENEE GEIS
Project Executive
Years In Industry: 23
Years at Hunt: 15
As a young girl, Renee grew up on a hobby farm spending a lot of time with her Dad. Ultimately, she followed in his footsteps as a Dunwoody Graduate and then a Master Electrician. Renee loved working with her hands, liked the shop classes in Junior High/High School, and just really wanted to do something different. After working in the field for 7 years, she decided to try her hand at Estimating, then Project Management.
Currently, Renee is in a Project Executive Role for a large mission critical project. Some other notable projects she has enjoyed working on include Children’s Hospital, Midtown Exchange, U of M Ambulatory Care Center, and Marshfield Hospital and Cancer Center.
Renee credits her success to hard work, dedication, outstanding mentors, great friends, a wonderful husband, understanding children, and an employer who has given her exceptional opportunities which has allowed her to excel.
She says every day is a unique challenge but it’s how you react and move forward is what makes you who you are. Advice for up and coming female leaders? “Be good at what you do, and make good choices. It’s a small world and your name and work ethic will follow you.”
