MEA Weekend Trick-or-Treating at Hunt Electric and ECSI

EAGAN, MN – October 2025 –

At Hunt Electric and ECSI, there’s one surefire way to know that Halloween season is in full swing – our highly anticipated annual MEA Weekend Trick-or-Treat event!

MEA Weekend, a cherished Minnesota tradition, gives students a well-deserved break from school while teachers attend their annual conference. While many families use this time to relax or travel, we at Hunt Electric turn it into an unforgettable celebration of Halloween fun for our employees and their families.

A typical year includes decked-out cubicles and plenty of creative costumes, but this year’s event took things to a whole new level! The friendly competition between departments sparked some incredible transformations across our Bloomington office.

• Engineering wowed everyone with a 12-foot skeleton and a haunted mini-golf course.
• Finance turned their space into a full-blown corn maze.
• The Warehouse surprised us with a dunk tank!
• HR transformed a conference room into a pirate ship.
• Billing created a spine-chilling haunted room.
• And IT stole the show with a Star Wars-themed setup – complete with costumes of iconic characters.

The energy was electric, and it was hard to tell who enjoyed it more – the kids or the grown-ups! Seeing our employees come together, channel their creativity, and embrace the Halloween spirit was truly heartwarming.
