Chief Estimator Speaks at Estimating Summit

Bloomington, MN – November 2024 – We are excited to share that Hunt’s very own Chief Estimator Kathy Grieger was a featured presenter at this year’s Advancing MEP Estimating Summit in Dallas!

The Advancing MEP Estimating Summit brings together estimating professionals from across the country for three days of learning, collaboration, and relationship-building. Kathy had the privilege of speaking alongside more than 15 other industry leaders, sharing her expertise with fellow estimators.

One of the key topics discussed this year was the role of Artificial Intelligence in estimating. Kathy highlighted AI’s transformative impact on the industry, noting, “The current capabilities of AI appear to be streamlining processes and saving hours on intricate projects, and the advancements projected in the coming year are truly remarkable. I am eager to see and experience the cutting-edge technology to drive even greater efficiency and success in future projects.”

During her presentation, Kathy also shared valuable tips for fellow estimators, provided insights into her own estimating process, and discussed strategies for handling mistakes.

Reflecting on her experience, Kathy said, “The conference was a fantastic opportunity to network and collaborate with estimating teams we work with on projects, although never in person. Sharing ideas and insights not only strengthens our partnerships but also helps drive more effective solutions for future projects.”
