Hunt Electric is proud to celebrate the growth and success of its leadership team with two exciting promotions. Norm Motter has been named Vice President of the North Region, overseeing the Minot, Moorhead, and Fargo branch offices, while Mark Christopher has been promoted to Branch Manager of the Minot office.
With over 21 years at Hunt, Norm brings a wealth of experience, a proven track record, and a passion for operational excellence to his new role. Norm’s career at Hunt has been nothing short of impressive. He started as a Project Manager, a role he held for 10 years, before moving into Business Development and Sales. Most recently, he served as a Branch Manager for 2.5 years. This wide-ranging experience has given Norm a deep understanding of Hunt’s operations, client relationships, and the challenges of the industry. As VP of the North Region, Norm will focus on driving growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining Hunt’s reputation for delivering high-quality projects.
Mark Christopher joined Hunt on April 1, 2024, following the acquisition of Mayer Electric, where he served as General Manager. Since then, he has played a key role as Senior Project Manager, overseeing impactful projects and mentoring team members.
As Branch Manager, Mark will oversee day-to-day operations, manage budgets, and drive business development while ensuring projects meet Hunt’s high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. Reflecting on his career, Mark credits his passion for the electrical industry to his father, an electrician in Grand Forks, ND, where Mark began his career in 1991.
Mark is excited to lead the Minot office, saying, “Hunt Electric is a generous firm with strong leadership. It’s easy to dedicate hard work and trust to their vision for the future.” In his new role, Mark looks forward to driving success, mentoring his team, and delivering exceptional results for clients.
Both leaders bring extensive experience, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for driving Hunt’s vision forward. Their new roles mark an exciting chapter for Hunt Electric as the company continues to grow and deliver exceptional results for its clients. Congrats, Norm and Mark!
