EAGAN, MN – April 2026 –
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Ben Foreman to Hunt’s first-ever Director of Innovation! Ben’s journey with Hunt has been marked by creativity, collaboration, and a passion for problem-solving, making him the perfect fit for this exciting new role.
Ben’s journey with Hunt spans nearly seven years, including a brief stint in the medtech startup world before returning to the company he calls home. Over the past five years, Ben has served as Hunt’s Lean Construction Manager, where he worked closely with teams to improve processes and deliver exceptional results. His contributions have been instrumental in helping teams prepare for interviews, a process he describes as dynamic and rewarding. “The overall win percentage we have when using that process is pretty phenomenal, and it’s really rewarding to win as a team,” Ben said.
In his new role as Director of Innovation, Ben will focus on helping Hunt organize and be more intentional about problem-solving. He will work closely with teams across the company to listen to their needs, foster new ideas, and drive process improvement.
Ben’s passion for problem-solving began at 16, working on historic residential restorations, where he discovered the joy of combining hands-on work with creative thinking. “I didn’t like high school very much, but learning carpentry gave me a great chance to combine using my brain and my hands,” he shared. That passion for hands-on problem-solving has carried through his career and continues to inspire his work today.
When asked why Hunt is the right place for him, Ben didn’t hesitate. “Lots of companies talk about how great they treat people or how much it feels like a single team working together. Here at Hunt, the teams I get to participate in are so genuine in their enthusiasm to support each other, to work together, and to combine our skills to put solutions on the table and deliver projects better than any of us could on our own. I truly feel like we aren’t just co-workers, but we care for each other as human beings first.”
As Ben steps into this new chapter, he’s excited about the opportunities to do new and creative things at Hunt. We’re confident that his leadership and innovative mindset will continue to drive Hunt Electric forward.

With so many important projects under his belt, it is hard for Dylan to pick a favorite. But if he had to choose? “I have really enjoyed creating financial reports (Financial Statements and the Financial Plan) for Hunt Electric. These reports allow us to set goals, track our progress, and give us the data we need to make strategic decisions to move the company in the right direction.”
