HUDSON, WI – October 2024 – Our prefabrication and manufacturing team, Baer Manufacturing, recently hosted a large group of Project Managers and Business Development leaders from Hunt’s Bloomington and branch offices for a tour of their facility in Hudson, WI. Baer took their visitors through a 10-stop tour of each of their work cells, where employees were stationed to explain their processes, give demonstrations, and answer questions.

The day started off with coffee and breakfast along with a safety demonstration and short presentation on how Baer came to be. Stops one through four took the crew through Little Baer, the 150,000 s.f. facility that house the In-Wall, Custom Weld, Solar, and Temp Power work cells.

The second half of the tour took the groups through Big Baer, the 250,000 s.f. facility that opened in 2023. Here they saw the Crippa Bender in action, got a front-row look at the welders at work, and visited the Overhead, Underground, Skid Assembly, and Lighting cells.

This tour provided Hunt employees with an invaluable glimpse into Baer’s operations, fostering the connection between the two companies and highlighting their potential to support one another.
