In October 2023, Hunt Electric Corporation expanded its service offerings by acquiring Kat Keys, a family-operated locksmith business based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Established in 1924, Kat Keys has a long-standing reputation for providing comprehensive locksmith services, including lockouts, rekeying, key duplication, and safe sales and moving . The acquisition not only preserved the legacy of a century-old business but also enhanced Hunt Electric’s capabilities in security solutions. Through a new distribution agreement with Medeco Keys, the integration of Kat Keys brought added value to Hunt Electric’s existing locksmith services
