Hunt Electric Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Manufacturing Facility
We kicked off summer by hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house of our new prefabrication and manufacturing facility in Hudson, WI – Baer Manufacturing.
Expanding Prefabrication & Manufacturing Capabilities
HUDSON, WI – June 2023 – As a leader in prefabrication, we’ve increased our footprint and expanded our capabilities.
The new facility, called “Big Baer” includes 234,000 square feet of manufacturing space, 13,000 square feet of office/storage space, and a second level with 13,000 square feet of future office/storage space.
Mary Claire Olson Potter, President of the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce, kicked off the event with a quick greeting and big welcome from the City of Hudson. Hunt Electric’s Chief Operating Officer, Keith Colvard, followed up with a little bit of our backstory and how Baer Manufacturing came to be.
Hudson Chamber and community members, clients, vendors, and employees were greeted with passed rumaki appetizers upon arrival as they headed through the office to the manufacturing space for tours, more delicious food, and beverages.
Thank you to all our community partners who have made this project a reality. We look forward to the continued growth and community involvement in Hudson and the surrounding area.

Baer Manufacturing’s prefabrication capabilities include modular e-houses/skids, temporary power, underground, overhead, branch, and welding/fabricating.
